What is your take on early voting? |
I just have a feeling that the unprecedented number of early voters is a sign that many of them are voting Kerry. I just can't see repubs getting off their asses and voting early. What do you all think? I think it is a good sign for us.

4. This year, I truly don't know |
because I know it's being preached from the pulpits of the Christian right to either vote absentee to get to these early polls. They want to get their people "voted" before anything turns up that turns them against Bush. A big line could be a bunch of "mad as hell Dems" and it could be "the church ladies" humming hymns as they vote for Jesus!!! Who knows!!!!!

5. I just returned from voting early |
I'm in Indianapolis and waited in line for about an hour and a half. The lines just kept growing. Of course, I'm in the reddest of red states so Dems here are more concerned about the governor's race than anything else. Evil Bush crony Mitch Daniels might become our next governor after 16 years (I think) of Dem governors. It's frightening.

6. I'm guessing 70-30 pro-Kerry. |
Even if you were planning to vote Bush...would you be that motivated to vote early? OTOH, lots of people have waited 4 years to get back into the voting booth to vote against Dimson and they don't want to take a chance with election day "problems" that might negate their vote.

7. I voted early: people were discussing voting for Kerry outside afterwards |
I admit I live in a pretty progressive town. But lots of these people were 1st time voters and got out to vote early because they were so angry at Bush.
