Wonder what happened to David Gergen?
I think that is his first name. I'm talking about the pundit that worked with Republican/Democratic administrations that is always very fair. I'm just wondering what he thinks about the election at this point but I have not noticed him lately. Probably because they know he is fair and make sense.

1. His book published a year ago, appears on cable tv ever so often, not sure
if he has a regular job.

3. Thank you
Just noticed that he will be on CNN tonight. I hope it is a live show and not a repeat of one of his previous appearances. Plus he will be on the CNN panel during the election.

4. You're probably right.

He used to be on CNN all the time. Gave intelligent, thoughtful, non-partisan analysis of current events.

The Faux-wannabee couldn't have any of that. They probably booted his ass.

ETA: BTW, I found your question to be perfectly legitimate.

5. Saw him about 5 or 6 days ago and he said Bush would probably lose.
Because Bush needs to have at least a 5% lead going into election because of the Undecided break -- and doesn't take into account new voters who are mostly young and pro-Kerry.

8. He's on CNN quite a bit,
and contributes to the Washington Post on a regular basis as an Op/Ed writer.

9. He seems one of the more rational, objective as possible pundit types.
