Iowa Early Voters Polled: KERRY 52%, SMIRK 41% |
|
This includes absentees, folks!! The Des Moines Register's Iowa Poll! Twenty-seven percent of Iowa adults surveyed said they had already voted. Kerry leads Bush, 52 percent to 41 percent, among that group of early-bird voters. Among the 73 percent who said they definitely would vote on Tuesday, Kerry and Bush are tied. http://desmoinesregister.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20041030/NEWS09/41030009/1001

So is Wisconsin.
So Bush's camp can give-up on these fantasies of "losing Ohio but picking-off both Wisconsin and Iowa to kinda balance things out."
It ain't gonna happen, Bushies.
Ohio or Florida. Or both. We win.

10. I'm in Ohio, and I really don't know |
|
how it's going to shake out at this point. It's divided like I've never seen before EVER. If we can get out the vote in Northeast Ohio, where I am, we just might be able to do it. I think Florida will go for Kerry, despite King Caligula---uh, I mean Jeb's-attempts to steal it like he did in 2000.

The Bush campaign must be seeing these numbers and imploding.
Young voters, minority voters, single voters...who are ALL harder to reach for polling...WILL VOTE FOR KERRY!!!

Thank you Iowa!!! Read on a recent post here that McAulfie (sp?) said that over 6 million Floridians have voted and Kerry leads by 10 points in early vote totals (maybe exit poll surveys or such?) I can feel it!!! All-nighter on Tuesday!!

8. JK did unexpectedly well in Iowa in the primaries. Let's hope for a repeat |
|
in the general election!
This is great news. Let's hope that it's indicative of other battleground states, particularly OH, PA, WI, and FL!

12. Their current scenario looks a lot like my predictions. |
|
You can't sweat the 50-60 vote swings that happen every day there, because if they get one poll that comes in changing FLA by a point, then the whole race changes 50 or more. Get it? Just a way to keep up with state polls...

11. Bingo---it was those absentees that put Gore over last time!! |
|
Remember that on election night Gore actually did not win Iowa..it was the absentee ballots that gave him a 4,000 lead. Looks like that is exactly what is happening. I didn't think the state of my birth had gone off the deep end. We ARE going to take these midwestern states, add NH, take Ohio and probably lose NM---but, I think that adds up to WIN, doesn't it?????????????

If this holds up, Kerry would win around 55% to 44% for Bush with 1% going to Nader.
Iowa is so much like other states, the same 5% DON'T VOTE PROTEST for Bush can be expected in all the battlegrounds except maybe WV, MO and AR.
