yard signs and san diego
Firday we went to Sub base, as my hubby needed to check some thigns

We were driving through Point Loma a VERY WELL TO DO neighborhood, which alwys complaints about them damn sailors driving property values down (Never mind the base was there first, yep they de love the troops as long as they are not in their back yard)

Anyhow, this is PUKE country, and Kerry Edwards signs were there easy at a 5:1 ratio. Most were for local races and the expected and usual suspects, but seriously I had to smile at the ratio of KE versus Bush Chenney yard signs...

1. I saw two Kerry/Edwards bumperstickers on an army base in Germany
It's rare for any political views to be expressed publicly on base. I have not seen any Bush stickers.

on Sunset Cliffs....I now live in the Julian Area......Kerry signs dot the mountainside.....have only seen one for Shrub..:-)

PS WE GOT 12+ inches of rain past 2 weeks.
Big diffrence from last year when we were running for our lives from wildfires.

What a diffrence a year makes in the weather and politics huh?

5. I was in San Diego last week and was amazed at all of the BUSH yard signs
We were driving around with our Kerry bumper sticker and getting cut off, flipped the finger and dirty looks. Of course, we also have: Defend America, Defeat Bush! on our car.

These signs must have gone up in the past few days --because I sure didn't see them.

I was on Coronado, though. Does that make a difference?

Driving through Arizona was almost as bad. BUSH and 'W' bumper stickers and yard signs everywhere (until we got to that lovely liberal town of Flagstaff). Thank God for Flagstaff!

6. I noticed more K/E signs in Mission Hills the other day also!
I don't get into town that frequently, but I was very pleasantly surprised to see the signs in that well-to-do neighborhood.
