1. Isn't this good for us?
I thought an incumbent had to be a few points ahead to win, since undecideds tend to vote for challenger. Has anyone heard anything this election to change that logic?

2. The war and terrorism threat
makes the pundits think that in this election the undecideds may swing back to Bush as a known quantity.

4. I hope not.
If undecideds swing our way, as they have done in the past, I think we can eke it out.

5. But he's a known loser.....
Iraq blowing up all to hell, OBL still at large. I take what the pundits think with a grain of salt---a huge grain of salt.

3. Yes good for Kerry
An incumbent usually ends up getting fewer votes than final polls indicate, the opposiiton usually ends up with more votes.
