He's on CNN saying this.

He did some polling for cellphone users.

He still is saying a KERRY win.

2. Question
Does he say where those cell-phone-only users are? If they're all in NYC and LA they're not going to help us much. If they're in Cleveland and Miami, whooopeee! :bounce:

11. There are more and more cell only users all over
my best friend just switched over to no land line and so did her parents. We are seriously considering it, too.

We are in TX.

8. Yeah, but is this poll for people who ONLY
use cell phones, or people who have a cell in addition to a land line?

10. Well since 12, percent of that number
Is the percentage of people who only use cell phones, you end up with nearly 18 million cell phone only people. Rhat lease Kerry with almost 2 million more possible votes than Bush, 1 million if voter turnout is half that.

5. Cell phone users are everywhere.
Cell phone only users are everywhere.

I wonder what the precise definition of cell-phone only is. We have a land line in the home, but all four of us (self, spouse, two sons) all have cell phones. Oldest son is away at college, so is he cell-phone only?

My older sister is cell-phone only.

13. I think they mean NO land line
cell users only. In other words people who have nothing but a cell.

That's about to be us.

6. That's fucking awesome! What is that - - 58 Kerry vs. 43 Chimp
for cell phone users (i.e. those who are not included in the polled population)? That's what we were expecting -- the secret weapon!

Young Mobile Voters Pick Kerry Over Bush, 55% to 40%, Rock the Vote/Zogby Poll Reveals: National Text-Message Poll Breaks New Ground

Polling firm Zogby International and partner Rock the Vote found Massachusetts Senator John Kerry leading President Bush 55% to 40% among 18-29 year-old likely voters in their first joint Rock the Vote Mobile political poll, conducted exclusively on mobile phones October 27 through 30, 2004. Independent Ralph Nader received 1.6%, while 4% remain undecided in the survey of 6,039 likely voters. The poll is centered on subscribers to the Rock the Vote Mobile (RTVMO) platform, a joint initiative of Rock the Vote and Motorola Inc. (for more information: http://www.rtvmo.com). The poll has margin of error of +/-1.2 percentage points.

The poll also found that only 2.3% of 18-29 year-old respondents said they did not plan to vote, and another .5% who were not sure if they would. The results of the survey are weighted for region, gender, and political party....

I only heard what Zogby said on CNN, and he didn't go into particulars there.

This article you linked is better!
