is trying to have it both ways, straddle the fence, play to the middle? I'm just wondering because I seem to sense this in his statements regarding his predictions. Anyone else have this thought?

He has said definitively on The Daily Show and Bob Brinker that Kerry will win. Specifically because Bush cant get over 48% so far, factored in are the low favoriablity ratings and increase of DEM registration, the factor in the 55-60% break against incumbents and he is pretty solid on the why it will happen. I think you may confuse that he is saying it is close with having it both ways. But those two instances are enough for me.
