Who believes in election omens? Have any to share? |
|
Of course the redskins one is great. But just today, my hubby ( a fellow DUer and a damned good guy who has worked his butt off for Kerry) was in the grocery store. An old, old lady approached him (at least mid eighties, he estimated). She asked where he bought his Kerry T-shirt! There was something strange about her. She was very happy and "up." They chatted for a while, left their grocery carts in the store, and went out to his car so that she could get a Kerry yard sign from him. He gave her two. When my hubby asked how she felt about *'s policies toward seniors, she said, very calmly, "He is a bad, bad man." Finally, my hubby asked her why she was so happy. She said it was because she had a dream last night. She dreamed that Kerry would win. And she rarely dreams, but when she does, the dreams always come true. She looked absolutely certain as she left carrying her two Kerry signs.

1. I had a Kerry would win dream |
|
about 3 nights ago. Then last night I had another one.
I don't know how accurate my dreams are; usually they don't make a lot of sense. These were pretty clear.

3. I dreamed last night that Kerry was announcing his new cabinet on TV |
|
and announcing investigations into a whole slew of things as soon as he takes office in Jan.
This could be just wishful thinking but it sure felt real.

Ok, as I said, when I play Quake III online I use usernames such as "JKerry" or "Vote_Kerry". Well, yesterday I convinced some of my team members to use "Teresa" "Edwards" and the like. Out team smoked the other team 10 times in a row!!! One guy on the other team eventually changed his name to "Liberals suck"... They still lost though :D

I've had a couple Kerry winning dreams. I almost never have dreams of real people, and never have dreams about public figures. They were very happy dreams.

8. I forgot to add that my polling place is in a firehouse! |
|
Good karma, considering fire fighters are among Kerry's biggest supporters. :)
