The weather conditions on election day, Tuesday....... |
|
For those of you who have not already voted and are waiting to get to the polls on Tuesday, PLEASE do NOT let the weather intefere with your voting and also for your friends who are voting for Kerry. The gopers are praying for RAIN in hopes of not a lot of dem turnout. GO PREPARED and be ready to wait for a LONG time if necessary even if it is raining! This is the most important election in our lifetime and we have GOT to GET THE VOTE OUT. Turnout is going to be the KEY and we are holding the key.

1. LOL..I saw the national report... |
|
looked like there will be lots of rain throughout BUSH COUNTRY - Texas, OK, LA, KS, IN, etc...southern widwest...so if we turn out strong in those states, despite the rain, the repugnant turnout could be low and we could take AR or KS or one of those presumes red states. BRAVE THE RAIN!

Eskimo dog on it and stand in the rain until I get in. It is supposed to rain here in VA also, but I might revive my no-rain dance! :bounce:

predicted for central Minnesota, a little cool, but it's been cloudy and rainy for days, and Tuesdays the first day of sun! I think weather is not a factor, or actually boosts turnout.

That pumps us poll workers up - we're going to have an INCREDIBLE day. Some of us will be outside heavily Dem polling places handing out water and snacks.

8. As I said in a similar thread... |

Rabid bears and pie-throwing monkeys wouldn't keep me away. A little rain? Not. A. Problem.
People who have lived through 4 years of Bush can easily endure bad weather to achieve change.

for 45 minutes to see Edwards, I would do that and tread water all day if I needed to to vote for them. Nothing stopping me, not this time, not ever.
