Good news from NE Ohio!
Just talked to my mother - she was undecided up until recently - still don't know who she's voting for (old school "won't tell" voter) but she's from a family of 13 - ALL her brothers & sisters are voting for Kerry - in her neighborhood, there's more Kerry signs than * signs.

AND I've got an uncle in NW Penn who last time I talked to, was FOR the war & is now VOTING FOR KERRY! He's got a nephew who went over to Iraq, thought he was done, but then got called back for another 3 months. He's PISSED.

I've been doing a lot of hand-wringing down here in MS - things seem pretty dismal around all freepers down here - but this has really put a spring in my step!

5. Warren/Youngstown kinda/sorta
They live in Cortland, right outside of Warren. Her family mostly live in McDonald - they're all "working-class" types, most of her brothers went to Vietnam - One of her brothers asked me to bring him a Confederate flag a few years ago (thought for sure he'd be voting for the chimp).

The key here (obviously) is getting out the vote & making sure folks are ready to stand in line for a while - I'm kicking myself in the ass for not taking time off to get up there & help out somehow.

4. More good news from NE Ohio
i had my best day canvassing, found another 11 Strong Kerry Voters. I am getting pumped, as most of my contacts are telling me the same story at MoveOn Pac, and the folks who tell us they are for Kerry usually tell us their neighbors, friends and relatives are also. It is all up to us now to get the voters out to the Polls and we have the plan in place to do it. Kerry signs are blossoming all over the place in folks yards, so don't let the polls fool you, Ohio will go blue.
MoveOn's numbers in our area are running better than 2 to 1 for Kerry among the Turn-outs (infrequent voters)!

6. Excellent!
I noticed when I was out driving voters today that a house on a corner I've been passing by a lot for the past two weeks just changed it's * signs to Kerry signs! I hope there are many more like your uncle and the owner of this home!

8. Ashtabula county here...
The most northeast county in ohio, I'm in a small town, lets just call it "redneckville".
Signs seem to be pretty evenly split. My Kerry/Edwards sign was stolen but I'll just put another out (I have 2 more heh)
