Disruptors

We will be taking a number of precautions to keep out disruptors on Election Night, but invariably some will slip through. If you see a disruptor, please hit the "Alert" link on their post so the moderators can deal with them quickly. Do not assume that someone else has hit alert. In most cases, nobody has.

Some folks have been bragging on other websites that they are going to "unmask" on election night after racking up thousands of posts on DU pretending to be liberal. I am hoping that this happens. I get a great deal of pleasure from the idea that some moronic freeper has wasted months of his life pretending to be a liberal on DU. I get even greater pleasure from the thought that after all that work there is a good chance that their big "unmasking announcement" will get deleted after about 30 seconds, and their account banned forever.

on several longtime "du'ers" and whether or not they're genuine.

there're lots of signs to look for, and i see them present in quite a few here.

sometimes, i just think it's funny that THEY think they're fooling everyone.

I've only been here six months or so, I had no idea that there was such a drama going on with the Morans.

Anybody who has that much free time on their hands and available space in their heads to dedicate to such a stupid mission (pretending to be a DU'er) is clearly an unbalanced idiot anyway.

Somebody already accused me of being a freeper. I posted something without fact-checking it, it was my bad, but a whole big namecalling drama unfolded. And then in my profile under hobbies I have "toying with the willfully ignorant" and somebody for some reason thought I meant DU'ers and told me I "was busted".

The freeps need to get a life.
