waiting for almost 4 years for this.

3. I did that meditation thing the other night.

I suck at meditation, but decided I'd do it for the election. I don't have any idea if such things work, but if anything, I just wanted to do something I knew others were doing at the same time for the same reason. The thing that kept coming to me is the very theme of this thread--vote with hope, not out of fear. So I pictured people going into the voting booths and voting with hope. Fear is Bush's weapon--it is all he has. Hope is America's greatest virtue, and this is what Kerry represents to so many of us. So basically, I was trying to picture November 2nd as a day full of hope. Then I walk my dog and see my neighbor up the street had put up a handwritten sign, 'Bush Sells Fear and we're not buying it! Courageous Utahns Will Vote for Kerry!' It was great!
