5. Freepers are easy to trap, simply remind them that

by their logic, anything that happens is a result of God's will, and therefore proper.

The problem is, they begin to show their true colors in such situations, and therefore can't really argue with you, because their politics doesn't mesh with their religion.

6. They will rationalize it to fit their notion of "faith".

When Kerry gets in, they will decide God has done it for some reason that is beyond their understanding. That he works in mysterious ways, that they are not the ones to question, or to draw back the veil. It will be a trial sent by God to test their faith.

They'll probably think it's a sign of the End Times and run out to buy something to wear for the Rapture. I know of a couple of people who did this when Mt. St. Helens started belching last month.

Count on it - they'll find some way to twist their heads around it to make it fit into their twisted little notions of religion.

it would be God's way of letting the faithful know that we are in the end of days and they should prepare. Look for an increase in sales for back yard bunkers and dried provisions.
