I can't wait to be scapegoated when Kerry wins....
It'll be because congress failed to pass a constitutional amendment banning gay marriage that God chose to turn his back on the US.

You just KNOW it's coming. Brace yourselves.

1. Oh yes.
I suspect that there will be HUUUUUUUGE battles between Kerry and the Senate over approval of Supreme Court nominees. Will they get a vote on the floor? Will they get out of committee? Who knows?

The Religious Reich knows that (because of demographic change) this is one of their last chances to stack the court. Soon thereafter, gay marriage becomes legal, medical choice is further protected as a right, and sexual privacy further legally solidified. It would represent to the R.R. a total loss in the culture war, the war for America's soul. I am fearful of how they would react to this.
