GOP and mortgage company violate privacy
Some friends were down here from Appleton, WI this weekend, and relayed an alarming story to me. Apparently they have recieved mail from the local GOP office about candidates for local and national offices, even after my friends asked them to stop. It seems that the company they have their mortagage through sold their names to the local repubs. Cal and Amy did not mention the name of the company, but if they are making timely payments, and even if they're not, the company should have no right at all to sell these people's names to anyone, let alone the gop. She said they were fairly high pressure about the mailings and calls even after she demanded they stop. She also said that as recently as Friday they recieved a call from a local GOP operative. I find this apalling, especially, as I have said, they asked the gop to cease and desist. Cal also said he has no intention of voting for any of the candidates who have called and sent mail for the simple reason that they irritate him.
