What time of the day do you vote?
I'm voting in the morning--getting up at 6 and walk over to my nearby voting place O'Keefe Middle School in Madison by 6:45, as I expect long lines first thing in the AM (polls open at 7) and then go on to work.

When do you expect to vote?

3. As soon as the polls open ...
then on to work, unless I end up driving people to the polls. GOTV! There usually aren't very long lines at the school I vote at.

6. As soon as I am up and motivated.
I will vote at a little county garage in our township in Northern WI. I would be surprised if there is much of a line if any at all. Later I am picking up 6 other people to take them to their polling places so they too can vote for Kerry/Edwards. Good Job by the Packer today don't ya think?

About 7:30am. I don't really anticipate problems, this is Maine, but then again, you never know.

9. After Work
I commute about an hour and have to be on my way before the polls will be open. I live in a little town in Illinois, I won't have much of a line to wait in I'm sure.

15. Mid-morning
usually seems to be the lightest time at my polling place, but who knows this time.

I have to help with the kids' mock election at my son's school until 9:30 or so, and then I'm going to the polls with my knitting and a book.

16. Dead of morning...
...and I'm not by any stretch of the imagination a morning person. If I wasn't going to be helping at the polling place, I'd probably just stay up all night, go to vote in the morning, and then crash....

19. Since I have Tuesdays off, I vote mid-morning when it's less crowded.
But this time, I want to get up early and vote when the polls open - I think that would be exciting.

21. I plan on being at the polls by 6:30 a.m.
I know lots of others will have the same idea, so I still expect a long line. Mainly I want to get there early because it is almost impossible to find a parking place if you get there late in the day.

27. I usually wait until my wife gets home, but,
I've been waiting for four years for this, there is no way I wait until afternoon, hell I probablly won't be able to sleep tonight anyway.
So I told the marshmallow woman we're going to the polls as soon as we can Tuesday morning, I can't wait any longer.

29. Mid-afternoon
I go to school and live about 45 minutes or so from my polling place, but I only have class once on Tuesday, for an hour-and-a-half at 10. So, by around 1 or 2, I should be punching Kerry/Obama.

32. First thing in the morning
During the primaries, I am usually one of the first 10 Democrats to vote.

Of course, that is not hard to do here in Alabama. Hell, I could get to the polls at 10:00 am and still be one of the first 10 Dems to vote!
