My Little Prayer...
I pray that John Kerry wins the election on Tuesday and George and Laura Bush go back to Crawford and live happily ever after...

I also pray that no more Bushes run for or attain higher office ....

Amen

ever, anywhere.

Edited to say: Not meaning to take a thing away from DSB's prayer. :hi:

3. I pray for people to have clear minds on Tuesday
And to make the choice that is truly in their hearts. If enough people can do that, I believe Kerry can win.

For the record, I'm an atheist, but I believe that if there is a God he does not listen to prayers that ask for outcomes. How is God going to make Kerry win? I believe that if prayer does work, it works by opening our minds and our rights to what is right. But the decision is always our own.

4. I believe, whether there is a God, or not, if the mind focuses on the
benefit of the universe, the universe will respond in kind. Thus, praying can work, even though there may be no "One" to answer. Whether praying is really necessary, I don't know. I'm sure the universe can take quite good care of itself without our direction. But, it feels good sometimes to feel like we might be driving something, even if the steering wheel isn't connected to anything.

So, God, if Kerry's the one who should win, I'll be very happy, when he does. Amen.

5. I Agree
I've prayed and asked God to give Kerry opportunities - and to give shrub obstacles.

Doesn't change the fact that He helps those who help themselves. Hats off and much gratitude to those who have been so tirelessly working to GOTV.
