What Kind Of Dog Does President Kerry Have?
freep ponders kerrys dog. bwaaahaha

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-chat/1264280/posts

All of our presidents have done everything they could to humanize themselves, and not scare women and children. Thus they have cultivated a humble image, suitable to a servant of the people, not a master of the people.

This dog thing makes John Kerry stand out like a sore thumb in just one more horrifying way. It is not lost on anyone in this country, and the world, that the only world leader anyone can remember in the history of the world that had a German Shepherd Police Dog as his personal pet and companion was Adolph Hitler.

He was seen everywhere with his constant companion, a German Shepherd named, appropriately, Blondi. This is no reflection, as I said before, on German Shepherd dogs, or on their proper use by our police and military, or even there being used as family pets, but it is a reflection on someone seeking the presidency, who would use such a dog to symbolize how they think and what their basic attitudes are.

This dog selection sends a message of a man too dangerous to have in the White House.

1. If Kerry has a dog, I hope...
... it's any breed that has the nonchalance to walk up to Bush and pee on his leg. :P

5. Hey, you fucking freeps, I had a German Shepherd dog
growing up and they are wonderful, loyal, fabulous dogs. They're also very intelligent, which is why they are used so much as police dogs.

Go cheney yourselves, freepers.

10. Hey, don't be dissin' Barney. He's a Dem. He hates Shrub. You can
see it in his eyes when Shrub is holding him. He's been trying to escape for years. Notice how he won't let Shrubbie walk him on a leash?

13. I'm not dissin' Barney!
I called him cute and cuddly! Believe me, I'd steal the little guy if I could. I can't imagine living with those people.

Just wonderng if the freepers believe that their big tough cowboy of a pResident is really, in reality, a fuzzy little black dog.

11. It doesn't matter to them.
Bill Clinton had a nice, gentle chocolate lab and a cat. Considering how much the freepers hate Clinton, obviously there must also be something wrong with chocolate labs and cats. If Kerry had a golden retriever or a husky or a weimaraner or a St. Bernard they'd find fault with that choice. And God forbid he should have a poodle.

How absolutely stupid can you get?

These people's brains are so twisted they must look like pretzels.

I think Kerry's dog is named Cym, pronounced Kim.

24. German Shepherd = working dog
While this pet psychology thing may be a little nutty, I think that a German Shepherd is the perfect pet for Kerry. In fact, if I were to say what sort of dog Kerry reminds me of it would be a Shepherd.

A good Shepherd is highly intelligent, corageous and loyal. Anyone who has ever watched working police dogs--and most of them are German Shepherds or a closely related breed--knows that they are the most incredibly trained animals. Little kids can crawl all over them but once the signal is given to attack, they are relentless. We haven't seen pictures of Kerry's dog. The Kerry's have chosen to protect the privacy of Cym the German Shepherd. That is a good thing.

Cowboy writer Will James once wrote that he'd never gone wrong by judging a man by the horse he rides. OK, neither of our candidates seem to be horsemen but you can certainly extend that to their dogs.

This brings up Shrubs choice of canine companion, the skittery scottie Barney. Barney ain't no working dog. If Bush was really a rancher wouldn't he own something that could help him with the cattle. Something like say a Border Collie or an Austrailian Shepherd? Come to think of it, I've never seen Bush doing anything with cattle (I understand they're leased to provide atmosphere for the press) and I've certainly never seen him on a horse--rumor has it he's afraid of them.

Barney also does not seem to have a huge amount of respect or liking for his owner.

Now, I like Barney but if I wanted my house guarded, I'd go with the German Shepherd.

26. My thought is having ANY dog is a good reflection of a man
Dogs (actually, animals in general) are touted as good judges of character. I've seen numerous photos of Kerry with dogs, cats, riding a horse, etc. How often do you see photos of Dubya with an animal? Certainly not a horse, he's terrified of them. How about Cheney? The only animal that he's ever been close to is the one he's barbequeing at that moment.

It's funny that freepers love shepherds when they are used as police or military dogs to terrorize people, but when someone has one as a pet it's a bad reflection on the person.

You couldn't ask for a more faithful, loving dog. He was also great at eating dinner items I didn't want while my mother's back was turned.

My Cheyenne (and every German Shep I've ever known) is the world's sweetest dog. If Kerry has a GS that just seals the deal for me!
