Did anyone see John Kerry's rally in Florida last night ? |

The full speech went out here in the UK at 3am our time , not on Fox or CNN our only American stations , but on a British news station . I hope it was shown on your other news stations , as it was a truly inspirational and uplifting speech .
John Kerry had total command of the audience and spoke eloquently without the use of a script , looking only occasionally at , what must have been , a list of talking points in order not to omit anything . The difference to his delivery where it was apparent that he was in full command of the facts , and Bush's stilted delivery of another's words , could not have been more marked .
You are lucky to have such a strong , intelligent and caring man running to be President . He will bring greatness back to The White House and America . I only wish that I , and the rest of the World (as we all have a stake in this election) , could vote for him . :)

We are SO excited to bring this great man to our White House, so our country will, once again, be able to live with grace and honor in this world.
I didn't see the Florida rally, but I was at the rally in Madison, WI with 80 to 100 thousand of my closest friends. :) Kerry was amazing, and the crowd was INCREDIBLE! There is so much energy here - I've never seen anything like it!
When I talk with people from overseas, I often find myself apologizing for our government and the rot that it has spread to the far corners of the earth. I appreciate your post, because I know that 48 hours from now, this four-year-long nightmare will be over, and we ALL will be celebrating together.
Thank you so much for your uplifting words, and we're looking forward to sharing a toast with you on Wednesday! :toast:

2. Thank you for those encouraging words. We know the world |
|
is watching us; it drives more than a few of us to strive more diligently to elect Kerry as our next President.
Many of us, I among them, are desperately embarrassed, in front of the world, by the current administrations lying conduct, policies, and arrogance.
I wish we could have impeached bush long ago. I mean just how much WRONG can a leader do before he gets tossed out on his bum?
Thank you again..meditate positively for us and stay tuned! :hi:
BTW: How are the "odds" running in the UK, for or against, at this point?

3. You shouldn't be embarrassed |
|
Nor should those who voted for Bush last time , as you couldn't possibly have envisaged the depths this man would plunge to . Now this election is another matter .
As for the odds here , Bush is , and as always been the favourite to win , though the odds for John Kerry have shortened over the past couple of weeks . Bush being favorite owes more to the fact that people here are expecting the election to be 'stolen' again , rather than believing that he will actually receive more votes .
