1. My NW Wisconsin Mom's poll

I asked my elderly mother (who is rabid anti-Bush) what is going on in Wisconsin with these polls that lean toward Bush. She cannot understand how anyone could listen to and observe Bush and still support him. She says all of her friends feel the same way.

She lives in one of the ubiquitous small Wisconsin towns with a post office, 10 bars, and a gas station. The Leinenkugel crowd is going Kerry, and as goes Lienie, so goes Wisconsin.

(For you unwashed masses that are not familiar with Wisconsin, Leinenkugel is a beloved beer).
