what's the mood in freeperville right now?
Are they scared? cautiously optimistic? smug and jubilant?

I've been asking this question periodically as the campaign progresses. The last couple of times I asked this, I was told that they were smug that their man Chimpy would win. Is that still true?

3. Remember the advice of Barbara Bush
"Why would I want to sully my beautiful mind with those kinds of thoughts?" or something like that. The mind of a Freeper is a smelly place to visit.

10. I'm not afraid to look over there.
They're crying foul over the Ohio court decision barring repug challengers from the polling places.

They're claiming that countless minorities will now have a free pass to vote "4 or 5" times due to the massive "get out the fraud" effort by "the dems."

Yeah, it's really easy to vote four or five times! Yeah, right!

Hell, my state has same-day registration, has for many years now, and voter fraud of this type is virtually nil. (This is according to the top non-partisan (non-elected, non-appointed) election administrators in both the city of Minneapolis and the state of Minnesota.)

vote "fraud". But they seem happy over the Iowa election market and election betting polls. Freepers seem to think that bettors know better than pollsters. Some folks will bet on anything.

..."Gotta build moon bases before the ChiComs beat us to it." In response to the Chinese criticising Bush and favoring Kerry. They can't even tell when the Chinese are pullin' their chain! The polls have got them seriously unglued.

19. Last night they were reporting the Redskins loss didn't mean anything
Saying that the news was wrong about a skins loss meaning the incumbant party is out. Poor guys, they had it wrong. They thought it was last game before an election, but it is last HOME game before an election, and the Skins won their last home game in 1996 to the Colts. They lost the following week on the road.

The linked thread below shows Goopers are a mix of nervous and confident, same as us. No surprise, sa that's what I would expect in such a close race.

23. This, I particularly love:
I'm in Michigan and I still have hope President Bush will carry the state! ABC News guy just talked about how Kerry is trying to get out the vote "despite the lack of enthusiasm among his BASE"!!! BE POSITIVE AND GET OUT THERE AND VOTE as if your life depends on it!!!!

Heheheheh...tell that to the tons of us (his "base") out there going door to door. Tell that to the 10 thousand people who heard him speak at a venue for only 5 thousand last week...tell that to the crowd at the Joe Louis Arena today. Wishing it doesn't make it true dear freeper folk. ;) :hi: :bounce:
