No retreat, no surrender!
:kick:

"Like soldiers in the winter's night with a vow to defend
No retreat baby, no surrender!"

I have always loved this triumphant, rocking Springsteen song. It came out on Born in the USA in the summer of 1984. It's an amazing song, a winner's song, and it's so appropriate for John Kerry.

Now compare and contrast this with the new Bush campaign song, "The Final Countdown" by Europe (snicker)

"We're leaving together,
But still it's farewell
And maybe we'll come back,
To earth, who can tell?
I guess there is no one to blame
We're leaving ground
Will things ever be the same again?"

1. NUTS!
Isn't that what the American commander told the Germans during the Battle of the Bulge when they demanded the Americans surrender?

"Nuts" to you, Dubya.
