8. MSNBC last night...Katie Kwhoric...

I use to love Katie. I love smart women, and thought a tag-team with her and Paula Zahn would be the ultimate. But I've come to realize they are both complete shills who look out for their own pocketbooks, and have no journalistic integrity whatsoever. That said, she hosted a supposedly informative program on MSNBC last night between the two Hardball programs, and supposedly offered an analysis of the issues facing voters...employment, terrorism, health care. The first segment was on the economy, and I was so disgusted I started another letter to MSNBC, along with yet another thread to DU, but finally said, what the hell is the point?

The first segment on the economy was basically this is a nutshell..."Bush is doing everything perfectly, and the economy is turning around nicely and everyone is happy." I am not kidding.

When she got to the health care segment, much of it was focused on how those poor Canadians have to wait weeks, months, years, lifetimes, forever, just to get a doctor's appointment, so their system is so terrible for us.

I lost it at that point. This "objective" analysis was a not-so-thinly disguised BushCo commercial. Like...big surprise.
