The webmaster just had a notice on the webpage to go to www.electoral-vote3.com if you can't get into www.electoral-vote.com.

I'd bet my bottom dollar that this is an attack by Republicans who don't like the news that Kerry is forecast to win.

as I understand it, he is running 5 discrete servers. on an average day he is getting half a million hits. that's 100K per server. figuring that most of those are during the 6 AM to midnight period in the continental US, that's well over 1 per second.

gotta figure he's getting more than that, maybe way more, on the day before we vote.

so it might just be his host groaning under the load.
