It's official! ESPN Sportscenter predicts Kerry win! |
|
I was watching Sportscenter this morning while eating my breakfast, and they ran highlights from yesterday's Packers-Redskins game. Stuart Scott promo-ed the piece by stating that in every Presidential election for the past 40-50 years, when the Washington football team wins the weekend before the election, the incumbent wins. When the Washington team loses, the incumbent loses.
Well, the Packers beat the Redskins 28-14 yesterday. So, Sportscenter said it's pre-ordained -- Kerry will win tomorrow!
Seriously, though -- if you can catch the piece, watch it. It's quite funny. The game highlights are interspersed with clips from both Kerry and Bush on the campaign trail.

"Do you (choose) to save the free world, or do you help your team get to 4-4?" Longwell quipped. :eyes: Last sentence of article: http://www.greenbaynewschron.com/page.html?article=128381
