New yard sign: "John Kerry for President of France" |
|
This appeared over the weekend in the Kansas City area. I saw a couple of them on my way into work this morning.
My, my, they ARE desperate to think that bashing France will win them this election! It reminded me of the third debate when Bush brought up the name of Ted Kennedy several times. By the end of the debate I was beginning to wonder if Senator Kennedy himself was running for President.
And now my (only one to date) hateful Bush supporter story: My wife and our 6-year old son were working in the yard yesterday when someone in a sporty SUV pull up in front of the house and shouted something at them. My wife didn't hear what was said initially said but the driver went on to say "...and finish painting your house!" We are in the process of painting our house and had completed about 1/3 of it when illness and injury delayed our progress. It is taking a bit longer then we would have liked, but it is getting done. My wife was dumbfounded as to why this person would stop long enough to hurl invective at her at our son about our paint job until the SUV drove off. It was then she saw it had two "Bush/Cheney" bumper stickers. We have a "Kerry/Edwards" sign, in addition to other Democratic candidates in this election, in our yard.
I surmised this person knows Bush is going down and wanted to vent her frustration...

9. She did call the police, but did not get the plate number... |
|
By the time she realized what was happening the SUV was speeding off. She was able to see the B/C stickers, though.
I think she was more concerned about the safety of our son...

"He heh, snicker, gurgle DROOL- He Looks like LURCH, too! He he he snicker fart smack drool slobber fart fart, DUHHHHH...."
They are deranged cult members who for some reason just assume that everybody else thinks like them.
Most Americans DON'T hate France, and NEVER ate anything as stupid as "Freedumb Fries".

I could hear his voice in my head as I was reading it. Although the picture in the sig line might have had something to do with it. Funny post, nonetheless.

7. This is an especially ugly period in our history ... |
|
when a large segment of our population has no respect for our neighbors in the world community. They have little knowledge of history, but must have someone to hate. They spew their hate at selected targets and always find someone to blame for their problems. They accept no responsibility for their actions. It is always somebody else's fault.
I hope our friends in the world forgive America and understand that most of us love and respect the French and all the other people's the neocons have made propaganda targets. The French helped this Nation gain independence from a monarch, and for that they shall have my neverending gratitude.
We will need our friends help and I hope they can forgive us.

up the embarrassing French-bashing campaign. "Freedom fries" and all that.
