Faux probably has more access to the internal numbers than anyone, and they know the score. * will lose. Their privileged access to the White House will stop, and they will end up becoming an opposition network (which means $millions of ad dollars drying up). Better to be seen as having an 11th hour "Come to Jesus" moment (sorry for the irony here) than to be on the losing side of this equation.

FWIW, I anticipate that Clear Channel and Sinclair will both come under very heavy scrutiny in a Kerry presidency. The danger of using your media resources as a political tool is that you open yourself up to political scrutiny. I hope they enjoy it.

You can say this suppresses Dem votes or pumps up the Republicans, but this is certain... it's gonna be hard for Jeb to steal this if he has to if it means contradicting not only evidence and reality, but also Fox. It's like "Gee, Jeb, we can pull this outta our ass in the face of the facts, but now we're going against Fox!? What are we s'posed to do???"
