Desperation and Inevitability
Edited on Mon Nov-01-04 12:54 PM by Walt Starr
#1) Desperation - Looking to the right wing bloggers, radio talk shows, and rightwingers on non-partisan blogs I get a sense of desperation in those who back Bush. Even Rove has demonstrated an air of desperation.

#2) Inevitability - Looking to the left wing bloggers, radio talk shows, and leftwingers on non-partisan blogs I get a sense of inevitability in those who back Kerry. Even Limbaugh has demonstrated an air of inevitability, stating he hopes it's close enough to throw it into the House.

Down to the wire. Turnout is the key. We have fought. We have cried, we have worked, we have done everything. It's all up to getting Democrats to the polls.

I'm feeling good about tomorrow.

2. People should look at this map and feel confident
Not to dis our friends out west and in Virginia, Arkansas, and NC, but it looks like the northern tier, including Ohio, is going to break for Kerry. I have simply removed them all, including Florida, to show just what a lock this is. Vilsack has all abut claimed Iowa for Kerry, and reports from Wisconsin look good too. I have even given Bush Hawaii according to the BS this weekend, and we could even lose NH in this scenario and still squeak through.
My compliments to all the hard working Buckeyes, who have stymied and stopped the GOP in every way possible, including keeping Nader off the ballot. Kudos to FLorida too, which looks good, even though I have kept it off here to appease the most pessimistic.
