Bush just proved AGAIN how stupid he is by insulting Massachusetts (sp?) |
|
Edited on Mon Nov-01-04 01:02 PM by glarius
He was just on CNN at one of his rallies, shooting off his mouth. He is so dumb he doesn't seem to realize he is insulting people who might possibly vote for him, when he says in a deprecating way, (as I've heard him say several times)...."That's a lot even for Massachusetts!"...Doesn't he realize, you don't insult people you want to vote for you?...The man is stupid and classless....

But I agree - he's supposed to be President of the United States...not President of 49 States.

11. That does seem to be part of his motivation for many things... |

His father, all the unresolved issues with being the stupidest person in his (Eastern elite) prep school on up through University, and of course, his mother. We have one messed up little man sitting in our White House!

I live in MA, so I notice it when it happens. Both Bush & Cheney frequently mock us massholes and loudly assert that they "don't share our values." They hold us up as an example of what's wrong with America--even though we have the lowest divorce rates in the country, the highest per capita and family incomes, among the highest high school graduation rates (85%) and a third of us are college grads, among the lowest for births to teenagers (7.6 % of live births). Yeah, us Massachusetts liberals have it all wrong.
I guess it should be no surprise that the administration doesn't like the cradle of the Revolution--All that liberty can go to our heads.
True, it is really unlikely that MA will vote for them, but does that mean that Bush gets to be president of the United States of People the GOP Likes? If so, can we get our own president?
I sure hope so.

As a Masshole from Ground Zero for liberalism (Cambridge), I get really peeved at his nasty comments about my state. Don't forget that we are 40th in overall tax burden, putting to rest the Taxachusetts name.
If these wingers hate us so much, why do they send their kids to school in Massachusetts, buy vacation property in Massachusetts and visit Boston for conferences and historical tours? If you hate my state so much, STAY THE FUCK OUT!

I'm sick of watching them say the name of my state as though it were a dirty word.
And thank you.

8. How can it possibly hurt him ? |
|
If every Bush voter in Mass switch to Kerry, AWOL still gets the same number of electoral votes (from Mass.).
On the other hand, by insulting Mass Liberals, he is energizing the conservative base in swing states.

12. he knows "everyone supports him" - said it to Tom Brokaw |
|
Apparently, when Brokaw asked how he'll bring the country together he said "All I see is support" (which is true actuzally). So, you see, he can do.say anything.

Every time Goofball misspeaks, it just endears him to his adoring masses all the more. I've never been able to figure out the "It shows that he is just like us" analogy.
What's so wrong with having the most powerful man in the world being able to project himself as also intelligent?

Perhaps the problem is that too many people see themselves as being stupid, bumbling alchoholics that can't string together three words into a coherent sentence, and who uses lies and distortions in order to get ahead in life because they aren't competent enough to do it honestly. These are the ones who look at Bush with admiration ... he's just like them.
What this says about 49% of Americans is truly disturbing, however.
