My precinct has QUADRUPLED turnout already !
Yes, my hippie artistic Democratic-leaning precinct in Dallas, which had a lowly 28% turnout in 2000 (293 voters), has had 1305 voters in early voting!

That's more people than we even had REGISTERED in 2000!

HOLY CRAP. The hair is standing up on my arms right now.

8. Early voting was impressive!!!
My story:

Mid-afternoon at Harry Stone rec center (far east Dallas) and I had to wait about 30 minutes. And they had 10 or so booths, too!

Keep in mind, this is an "uncontested" area of Dallas -- no serious congressional races and no state rep race.
