We've been through so much together that I feel like you all are my dearest friends. I know it's probably not logistically possible, and maybe unwise, but it would be awesome to meet my wonderful comrades in arms!

3. We've been through a lot! We definetly need to remember the good
times, and bad haha!

Remember the drama, the tears, the laughs, and the energy!

Let's go to the WH!

5. It reminds me of what soldiers report about their battleground
experiences. The last 4 years have been incredibly intense, and we internet warriors have fought it out together. Even if I never set eyes on any of you, I consider you all to be my war buddies.

9. We've fought America's second civil war, and nobody noticed
Certainly not the powers that be--they've been too busy mass-marketing/spin-doctoring/force-feeding America their agenda to notice how ROYALLY PISSED OFF we are!

Sure, people like Michael Moore, Greg Palast and Howard Dean led the way. But the real warriors, the real source of our troop strength, have been the Bev Harrises and the Symbolmans and the Vetwifes and the Bartcops who were leading below-the-radar lives until circumstances thrust greatness upon them. And anyone who has done as little as pause to mail/e-mail a complaint about right-wing bias instead of just feeling disgust and moving on, is a Civil War II hero, too.

As Georgie himself once attempted to say, fool us twice, shame on us--and we won't be fooled again. For those about to rock the Bush empire, I SALUTE YOU!!!

6. How about a DU Inaugaral Ball?
Innaugaral Balls are held in may places each inaugaration. There's not just one. And the new pres traditionally visits them all.

If DU alone doesn't have the critical mass for one of their own, how about joining with other internet-based progressive groups for one?

Or at least turn all our posts into book, get a movie deal, and get rich! It would mean no more pledge drives, Skinner!
