Whichever side is hungrier wins. Period.
This is all about hunger. It drives *everything*.

The hungriest side will get out the vote, in massive numbers.

The hungriest side has been working hard long before now.

The hungriest side tends to be (though is not always) the challenger's side. (Incumbency, in some respects, breeds a bit of "sit back and enjoy it-ness" which is antithetical to hunger.)

The hungriest side is the most unhappy, the most disenfranchised, the most angry.

Get out there and show your hunger.

10 years for me, too.

Actually when he was FIRST elected gubnor, we were living in Georgia. When I heard about it, I turned to my husband and said "Well leave it to a bush to make me, for the first time, happy I'm living in Georgia and NOT Texas."

Then we moved back here shortly thereafter.
