Bush didn't win the popular vote, so the population was most decidely NOT Roved. He didn't win that election through finesse, or smarts. He won through skullduggery and thuggery and a rigged Supreme Court. That's not the mark of genius.

A true genius would have taken the unity that Bush had after 9/11 and coasted to landslide in '04. Rove squandered the good will of the entire planet and his war-time incumbent is going to lose to "the #1 Liberal in the Senate"...That's pathetic.

I'm not sure how much of it is because Rove is a moron or how much of it is because he was trying to foist a monumentally defective product on the public (Bush). In any event, a REAL genius would have been able to foist even a monumentally defective product on the Public given 9/11. Rove failed. He sucks. He's a pathetic hack who will go down in history as the "mastermind" of one of the most collassal political failures in history, and I for one couldn't be happier.
