And Kerry has not been there much lately. Seems like he's been in OH, WI, or FL constantly.

Are the Amish going to swing PA to Bush?

We'd have a MUCH HARDER time winning w/o PA. I'm concerned. Give me good news.

I am from PA and it's funny how many people think the whole state is mostly populated with Amish. (typical question - "oh you're from PA... were you raised Amish?" Too funny.) They are a tiny minority and even if every single one of them votes Boooooosh we still are in great shape in PA.

Again, the polls showing Bush ahead in PA also are goping trhings like polling 38 percent Republicans and 35 percent Democrats, which is pretty much the reverse of the actual voting profile for elections for the last 15 years in PA. Another indicator is that among new voters for every one new Republican Voter, there were 3 new Democratic voters.

As Usual there are three new polls that ran through the 31st of October. The CNN gallop polls (Oct 28 -31) shows Bush 4 point ahead in PA

The Zogby Poll Polls (OCT 28 - 31) Shows Kerry % point ahead of Bush)

The Quinniiac Poll ( Oct 27 -31) Shows a tie.

The Mason Dixon Poll (Oct 27 -29) Show a Kerry lead of 2 points.

So we have two poll in the last few days showing Kerry leading. One showing Bush leadin (using data showing more republican voting in PA than Democrats) and one poll showing a tie in the state.

The average of all these polls shows Kerry with a lead in the state.

Probably leading by more than the polls indicate as the methodologies differ in each poll, and the way the methodologies are determined are in the end, almost completely subjective, rather than relying on raw data based on equal numbers of people polled by party.

Even more ionteresting is the most Recent Poll by a conservative pollster, Strategic Visions which now shows Kerry with a one point lead in PA.

In a final method of determining who is ahead, there have been nine polls done between the 27th and today. 7 have Kerry n the lead, on has Bush leading, and one has them in a tie.

Since September there have been over 70 polls in PA. Only 7 show Bush leading.

Now who do you think leads in PA.

Yeah. Here in WI, I'm biting my nails down to nubs. I've a good feeling overall though.

I just found out that a co-worker I thought would be firmly Bush, (he's ex military, back from Iraq) is the most anti-bush guy around (excepting yours truly of course). In fact I caught him reading excerpts from Michael Moore's new book of soldiers' letters on line today. Heartwarming, that.

I have been told that my county is a bell-weather for PA. My county is definitely going Kerry. My SIL & BIL were in Philly today, and they could find absolutely no evidence of Bush support. As BIL said, "Bush has been run out of town"

Now, it is true that PA is Philly on the east, Pittsburgh on the west, and Nebraska in-between ;) but PA is going blue--take it to the bank.
