8. PB & Jelly definitely
And chocolate chip cookies. Can't remember the kind of jelly. Strawberry or grape. I would prefer homemade apple butter with mine please.

Happy meals to you all.

I just had popcorn and nonfat pie that I made today. Ah, we eat fancy meals in this home especially if we ate out for lunch.

16. found an article about Teresa's cooking ...
Edited on Mon Nov-01-04 06:19 PM by Lisa
http://www.nytimes.com/2004/10/13/dining/13TERE.html?8br

After she married Senator Kerry, she expanded his limited culinary repertory. "When I married him, he did a very good olio with pasta," she said, "and a very good vinaigrette. And he made the best meringues in the world and the best chocolate mousse, just like my mother's. I taught him to make risotto and to make soups, to cook when I was not around.

"His diet before we were married was pasta with olio or tomato sauce, a salad and then ice cream, and I told him that even though he was thin, it was not the best way to eat."

She advocates homemade European-style bread, and taught her kids how to make it too!

p.s. word is that Kerry likes seafood (esp. cod) when he eats out? After all, he IS from MA.

Kerry once owned a business that sold gourmet cookies (based on his family recipes).

Apparently he used Lindt chocolate chunks.

Speaking of cookies -- this Chicago bakery had a Bush vs. Kerry cookie popularity contest. They ran out of Kerry cookies and had to substitute Bush ones with his picture crossed out on them!

21. That NYTimes article was the best I have read on Teresa
I love that she is a brea baker - so am I! My kids will not even eat store bought white bread - they say it's spongy.
