I got a handshake, but she got a hug from John Edwards in L.A. last July, and every now and then she says, out of the clear blue sky, "I hugged the next Vice President. And he smells good too!"

But I know JE is truly a good guy -- he is incredibly genuine and honest. He'll make an outstanding Vice President.
