History tells us this election will not be close
Even Tim "the whore" Russert said recently that incumbents either win or lose by wide margins. I would say this is going to be one of those times when they lose by a wide margin. My prediction Kerry by 16% (58% - 42%)and 411 electoral votes. Unprecedented turnout of 72% nationwide tips the scales. Coat tails yields 4 seat net gain in Senate and 18 seats in House for the Dems. In other words a total blowout! Oh how sweet it will be!

2. You got it right NB
We are talking historical here. If I am right this is going to shock Washington and in particular the Repukes to their shoes. It might just be the downfall of the right wing of the Repuke Party. No great loss there. Next up - hang all of the treasonous neocons!

3. That election was the swan swong of the Whigs
I supose this could be the swan song of the RNC... at the very least the Extreme Right.

;-)

In fact I have been saying it for months, almost a year. I think the GOP is in for its downfall... not from grace but into the dustbin of history

4. It seems that the young are more likely to think it will not be close ;)

Older folks tend to the opposing view ;)

5. I'm not young
but am probably in the minority amongst my peers, all of whom think it will be very close. My predicition is based upon pure gut feel. I sense the momentum and I know the polls are not factoring the newly registered voters, especially the 18-24. Also, they are not getting the single women who did not vote in any numbers the last time around and who are likely to come out strong for Kerry this time. And a record turnout always favors the Dems. As I said earlier this is an election that will go down in history.

6. if logic applies at all, you're right
and to go one step further, anyone who supports bush should be jailed. The US appears to be so full of hateful, nasty people, however, it might be better for all if bush is allowed to drag the whole thing down as far as possible by winning, or stealing it agin...remember:
a) the liberal democratic free thinking generous spirited etc win thanks to wise voters overwhelmingly voting for Kerry and stomping neocon bs out forever or
b)the lib/dem free thinking generous spirited etc win thanks to the grotesque ignorance and foolishness of 50 percent plus one voters for geebush inc, which will continue tearing the golden goose aka the USA, to pieces and therefore doom the very 'pukes who supported Goofy & Company in the first place...
we can't lose

8. I have been saying for over a year that it would not be close, but that I
had no idea whether Bush would win. I based that opinion on history. Even one week ago I expected the polls to break and show a 6 to 10 point advantage for one candidate or the other. I now expect it to be close. So either I am wrong now or I have been wrong for over a year or both. I could not care less about being so wrong provided Kerry wins.

9. I've been saying since January that it would not be close.
If there's one thing I've learned this election cycle, is that the pundits have been mostly wrong in their predictions. They've been wrong since the primary season.

There is nothing predictable about this election. Polls, polls from 2000 and low young voter turnout predictions should be thrown out the window.

10. The only thing that bothers me is that
we are at war and I hope people don't agree to let that loser continue the job.

11. call me negative but after electing Nixon, Reagan, and Bush 41,
I do not have much confidence in the wisdom of the American people. I do think that * is going to lose, but only by enough to prevent prolonged litigation. Landslide ? BS. If it weren't for our strenuous efforts and the efforts of our supporters, * would be re-elected, I am so sure of it. This same nation elected and re-elected Reagan, who was a MASTER of teflon. I hope I am wrong tomorrow, but I don't think so.
