Because the Repukes need to reap all that they have sown. Ever since Reagan, all they've basically done is say, "We're in control; get on board or get out of our way."

It's time they get the same damn treatment from our side! ASSHOLES!!!!

22. Gloat? No, I will not gloat
Gloating is far too tame a word for the celebratory display I will conduct when we have achieved regime change in America! I shall shine, I shall exult, I shall wax defiant.

Tomorrow, we should all say when we "throw the lever":

"Who's your Daddy??!!!??"

Say it!

33. No Im not going to
Because this specific administration(shrub & co.)is corrupt and wrong not because of their political beliefs but because they went against their own parties idea of conservatism and that is not the partys fault. They truly are corrupt and should be impeached.

Plus I truly feel sorry for anyone that is uninformed and blinded enough to beleive there is any justified reason to vote for this man and his band of crooks. They just don't understand.

But I *WILL* celebrate :kick:

No, actually I'll go back to my "normal" life and quit worrying. It will be a big weight off my back, knowing I can stop watching TV like a hawk looking for Polls and who's in the "lead". Sure I'll watch the inauguration and maybe a little gloating when I watch Bush face as Kerry is signed in :P but other than that no, Republicans will eventually see we democrats are not bad and I don't want to start that process with an insult.

38. Absolutely NOT! No gloat zone in effect. Celebrate, yes. Be happy, yes.
Like Al Franken told a woman in Portland, Maine today (paraphrased), who asked if his angry tone would change: A Kerry win on 11/2 doesn't get us a higher minimum wage on 11/3, and it doesn't get us a health plan on 11/3 ... etc.

Be assured that a Kerry win with the GOP retaining or gaining seats in the Senate and/or House (thanks to Tom Delay, for one) will bring out deeper levels of nastiness from the GOP. We cannot roll over like we have, but we absolutely must avoid sinking into the slime with them. If Kerry wins tomorrow, we have two new missions: 1. Gain in the Congress in 2006 (while positioning for 2008), and; 2. Making Kerry do what he should as a President from the great Democratic Party.

This weekend, on Air America, I heard a Republican say why he was voting for Kerry/Edwards. He said that the Bu$h/Cheney regime represents the fringe of the GOP. We know that. What he said that impressed me was that, if Kerry/Edwards wins and the GOP maintains control of Congress, he wants to see Kerry's election returning the GOP Congress to acting like real Republicans. Of course there might still be the Toxic-Tom-Delays of the Congress, and a Democratic president and an emboldened Democratic minority might have big challenges dealing with them. I think they are up too it.

Gloat if you must, but do it in your closet. This fantastically revitalized party is above that.

73. Yes, and I will make sure to remind right-wingers of the following:
"Now that President-elect Kerry will be taking office in just a few short weeks, I hope you Republicans will remember to live by the rules you so stridently attempted to set for the rest of us during the soon-to-be-defunct Bush Administration.

1. Criticism of President Kerry is unpatriotic and anti-American.
2. Criticism of President Kerry's policy in Iraq (or other military
endeavors) is tantamount to attacking our brave troops.
3. Criticism of any of President Kerry's tax plans is class warfare.
4. Criticism of or even questioning any of President Kerry's other
domestic policies is just pessimistic Kerry-bashing, probably due
to your inability to accept the results of the last Presidential
election.
5. If you are unable to accept the results of the last Presidential
election, three words, sore loser: GET OVER IT!
6. Celebrities who make rude comments about President Kerry are to
be boycotted and hounded mercilessly for daring to voice their
ill-informed views.
7. President Kerry and his party own the American flag and have the
right to lay claim to it as well as all of the other historical
emblems of this country including the Bill of Rights, Liberty
Bell, etc.
8. Any problems President Kerry encounters during his time in office
are ALL the fault of the last President to occupy the White House;
Kerry himself is to be held utterly blameless.
9. President Kerry is never to be held responsible for any mistakes
made on his watch including failures in national security, broken
promises, two-faced statements or other items.
10. If you can't handle the above rules, you need to leave this
country. NOW."
