I'm jealous of you Americans
I wish I could be out there voting tomorrow. If I was an American, I'd be damned fired up to put in my 2 cents on that ballot!

Yes, I did vote in a critical Canadian election this year, and did so with burning resolve. Still, the stakes are nowhere as high as this US election is. Well, go and make your voices heard and your votes counted...not just for your countryfolks but for those of us watching the most powerful nation in the world decide its destiny!

2. Send good karma down this way

I know the entire world wants Bush retired. We will do our job tomorrow. We will do our job.

7. I second that, send good karma this way,

8. The Edmonton folks are not so bad
They voted in 2 Liberals to the Federal govt (only 2 non Conservative members out of approx 28 in all of Alberta) ;)

12. No, Alberta Clipper is
a blast of cold air we get in this part of the states by way of the Great White North. Two weeks of -10F temps (and that's the noonday high temp).

4. Oh God, don't be jealous! I'd give anything to be hanging out with you
as a fellow Canadian tonight. This has been so stressful, so tiring. I keep feeling like I could have talked to one more person ...canvassed just a little more. And I did this against DR's orders. But it is important for my kids. If you can see me, dear friend, I'm waving at you from right across Lake St. Clair. I live about 15 minutes from Ambassador Bridge.

Laura

Things look very, VERY good for us in MI!!!

9. Good to hear!
I'm only a few hours away from your part of the states. I remember when I lived in Michigan for 2 years...and how distressed I was with the Poppy Bush-mania in 1988 when I was studying in Michigan.

5. Of course...
...the tradeoff for getting to put in your 2 cents on that ballot is having George W Bush as the leader of your country for the 4 years leading up to the vote.

Still jealous?

6. Your Karmic vote is equally important! God, let us get it right (correct)
this time!

I dare say I don't think you've been jealous of us the past four years, though! An early Very HOPEFUL & Optomistic :toast:

10. Don't be. We're in
a TIGHT race and one of the candidate is a bona fide crazed religious, idiot. Go figure.

But a good portion of Americans are fired up and jumping at the bits to fire the jacka##. Yes, we are excited here.

11. God bless Canada and the Canadians
You just keep on being a voice of relative sanity on the North American continent. We're going to kick Dopey's ass right up between his shoulder blades tomorrow.
Abe Lincoln said "You can fool all of the people some of the time, and some of the people all of the time -- but you can't fool all of the people all of the time."
The Chambers Brothers said "Time has come today."
We're going out tomorrow and saving the world from, well, from us.
John
From Saginaw -- home of the Saginaw Spirit (OHL) and THREE Tim Horton's doughnut shops. Like I said, God bless you Canadians.

I'd give anything to be in your position--in Canada and a spectator to the debacle going on across the border to the south.

19. Thanks, Domitan! I wish you could vote here too!
We could use the vote. I'm 49 years old, have voted in EVERY election (including the primaries) and have NEVER been so excited about voting an incumbent out of office! I cannot WAIT to send him packing. Thanks so much for your support. It's nice to know we aren't alone in the world.
