Howard Fineman finally gets it right about the Catholic vote. |

He says that the Republicans may have outwitted themselves on the Catholic vote by enlisting some bishops to make Kerry an issue. Fineman says that by doing so, it has IDENTIFIED Kerry as a Catholic and that that will help him.
Also, I've heard several times now that Republicans who wanted to use gay marriage as a wedge issue with African Americans have blown it by openly stating their intent to challenge voters at the polls. This will likely anger African Americans and put those thinking of crossing over back into the Dem category.

Pat on this years voting issues as a matter fact all the panelist were with the exception of Pat trying to figure out a way for a loser to win.

Many Catholics think for themselves, I'm an example of that. Repubs don't understand that.
