Signup under the volunteer section. It is simple, and you really don't have to do anything if you don't want - but all i ask is that you use the volunteer center to send email reminders to your friends and participate if you can.

Tommorow there is an ongoing "call list" that needs help - coordinated through the website you call up voters and remind/make sure they get to the polls. Its fun, easy to do and worth the efforts. A list, script and training session is available.

Not only this, but you can find local parties to join, meetups with democrats and other activities in your area.

Signup today & volunteer or atleast coordinate your local voting efforts by sending GOTV emails, reminders and getting the latest up to date news.

I have been doing phone banking at our cty dem hdqtrs. Do you think I should abandon that and go with the kerry volunteer phone banking?

I have been doing moveon.org GOTV efforts the past 3 days and will do the online stuff tommorow calling up people - i missed out on the pollster training so i wasn't able to work on that.

I'm rather excited about tommorows GOTV campaign callout since it will drive people to the polls and such. Your local DNC quarters may have there own list they're working off of as well (or may be focused on a hot senate seat or something as well worthy of your time)

call the HQ back and see how busy they are. In Boston, our phone lines are full for most of the day, so you would allow a spot for someone else (maybe someone that doesn't use the internet) if you did calling from home.

6. Vonage is awesome

I have the unlimited long distance voice over ip plan from vonage so i wlil be calling across america. Its an internet/broadband phone and i've upgraded to two lines for this effort :)

We're putting together canvassing packets for tomorrow morning. Door hangers tonight, then tomorrow early morning, after that we do two shifts of canvassing.
