7. Cheer up!! The big PARTY will be there TOMORROW!! :-)
Watching the party in Cleveland tonight in C-Span--my Dad was raised in their public school system in the 1930's--grew him from an immigrant's kid to a young man passionate about art and science--he went to Ohio State after WWII on the GI bill. We went from there, and from my mother's farming town by Lima, over to Europe and back on his engineering career. I was born in the middle of the state, named after George Washington's Mt. Vernon.

Anyway. My sis went out from the midwest to teach her first classes in the Boston area, from where she jumped into the State Dept. She is driving Virginians to the polls tomorrow. :-)

This country is so BIG, but also so RICH and VARIED and WONDERFUL!! And we are all TIED TOGETHER, as Bruce just preached in his "sermon."

To be short--YOU, lucky Rose, get to host the party in Boston when the JOHN-JOHN ticket comes HOME tomorrow!! All I have been able to do is to run up from Chicago to Wisconsin, and call Ohio voters without end!! Our Senate race doesn't really even need me (Obama is ahead by 50 points) historic as it is, and we are blue in every other office in this state!

But I am grateful--I see the next 25 years stretching ahead of us in hope, "taking our country back!!" Enjoy the celebrations, everyone!! "Help IS on the way!"

(P.S. I just cannot figure out how to change "dar" to faith_hope_love, my true monicker.)
