Lurking conservatives: are you voting for Kerry on the sly? Don't be shy! |
|
I know you're out there tonight! Don't worry--nobody's going to trace your IP or anything. 'Fess up!
How about this, in the spirit of good faith: While in the booth on Nov. 2nd, 2000, I very nearly voted for Bush, and only turned back to Gore with my nose held.
Okay, your turn! Remember, I love you either way.

2. I admit, I was taken in by his campy, "aw shucks" everymanism. |
|
Now I know it was only a facade for Pure Evil.

6. I voted for a winner in 2000, Al Gore! |
|
I ain't EVER voted for a republican in my 33 years of voting! I never will!
Look all the way back to the US Grant Administration and you will see that EVERY time a republican is in the White House the country goes into a recession or a depression! WHY, would you vote for more hard times? Why would you vote against your own best interest?

12. But, you see, I was ignorant. |

I hadn't read all of that yet. I was wrapped up in my own little world. Now, of course, I know. I even find my own support of McCain appalling now.

To be perfectly honest, I was pretty ignorant and media-brainwashed. What occured on Nov. 3rd and afterwards blew the scales from my eyes, and I have been trying to educate myself ever since. Part of that education included discovering DU.

A vote for Bush is a vote for Neo-Conservative Corporate Fascism.
I'm starting to come to terms with voting for a democratic President, but I am and that's all that matters tomorrow.

... I'm a conservative in many ways. Except I believe in civil rights. And I believe in economic justice. And I believe basic health care should be a right of every American. And I believe in progressive taxation.
Aw, who am I kidding, I'm no conservative. But I am voting for Kerry. :)
