2. interesting to see Will Ferrell doing Bush without really getting him

they've tried a few others, including Darrel Hammond

Hammond said on a radio show that he just couldn't get Bush

it's hard WORK impersonating an idiot!

HARD!

4. Oh come on
Get some thicker skin. The Gore parts are hilarious too. "Can I make 2 closing statements?"

But, nothing beats, "Strategery."

5. WHY? lots of people attribute Gore's loss to those debates
he CHANGED his own debate strategery because of SNL

I didn't find the Gore stuff that funny....sorta like Goebbels making fun of von Hindenburg

that said, it's more even handed than I'd been afraid...they're running some NASTY Bush stuff now

skin thinning out a bit

6. I Think Gore Sucked in the First Debate
No matter how upsetting it must be to debate a brain donor, he never should've let it show. IMHO, it's fair game. Nobody's above parody.

8. riiiiight
as opposed to Bush doing well?

are you serious?

he may not have been excellent, but suck isn't the word I'd have used

he KILLED Bush in the first debate.....rather, Bush killed himself, but the media SPUN madly for days, overcoming the initial public reaction, which showed clearly they thought Gore had won

if you don't belive me, do a little reading

that's what HAPPENED

they did the same thing during the debates as they did to him after his nomination speech, which they TRASHED, but the the public liked very much. they relented after seeing the public response

they did NOT relent after the debate

the MEDIA is by far the chief reason we suffer under these monsters today

I blame the pugs less, for their gentic, predatory makeup, for their DNA-fed need to do what they do, than I do for the venal, corrupt MEDIA, for the clear CHOICE they've made over the last FIVE years, to prop up this emperor with no BRAIN

may they rot

11. Clinton/Bush/Perot debate on now
one of best ever

Carvey playing bush and perot

they imagine the other as pot smoking hippy, old woman, and munchkin, respectively

now.....Perot and Stockdale in car together

Perot tricks him into getting out of car, then abandoning him after Stockdale does Frankenstein imitation

then he runs after/catches up to car
