THANK YOU Dr. Howard Dean..The Dean Scream Heard Round The World
I beg all to please honor Governor & Dr. Howard Dean for his
ability and vision at the beginning of the campaign process to restore Democracy by making every American aware that they have the power to choose the destiny of their Nation.

It was Dr Dean who spoke to the forgotten youth, empowered and listened to their voices. It was Dr Howard Dean who began the process of bringing prople to the fore.
It was the "Dean Scream" heard round the world alright!
And if not for that passion, both voice and voter supression would have kept millions of people silent in this campaign.

Dr. Dean managed to step from virtually nowhere, to be the biggest vocal asset and the one man from the beginning, who lit a raging fire amoung young voters across this nation. These voters will play a critical role in "handing Bush a one way ticket back to Crawford Texas", tomorrow.

Thanks Dr. Dean

Blaze

39. You're damn skippy. I hope Pres.-Elect Kerry thanks him 1st.....
after thanking his family, of course.

I saw an early morning speech by Dr. Dean on a wind swept platform back in about March. It was on CSPAN, which just happened to be when I got up early one morning. It was flat out amazing. Stopped me in my tracks to watch him. That was the 1st Dem I saw that fought back against the Repug scum for over a year.

Best I'd seen since Robert Kennedy.

and always will be.

Before him the Dems were afraid to even criticize "w".

5. Yeah, no matter who was your candidate, you have to admit that it was
Howard Dean that first put the energy into this election. He was a little tiger from the get-go.

He wasn't my choice, Clark was. But I am totally happy with the candidate we have, and I have to give Howard Dean credit.

6. I Absolutely Agree
Dr. Dean deserves a great amount of respect from all of us...

In my opinion, he campaign effort redefined the Democratic party. It gave voice to those who were afraid to speak for themselves.

Without Dean, I am convinced that Kerry would not have matured as a candidate.

The Democratic party owes you a great deal, Dr. Dean.

9. hear hear!
I was intrigued by Gov Dean (always backed Kerry) but he really got me about a month back when he came to town to support K/E. I saw him again in NYC at the "Retire Tom Delay" party last Monday ... and had the opportunity to talk to him (okay, my friend did the talking as I get tongue tied). The point is ... he is incredible.

13. These pics perfectly illustrate what he has done. Note the signs.
I love these pictures from a Texas rally. There he stand having so much fun with all the Kerry/Edwards signs around him. He has totally put himself aside and supported the party He was there for Richard Morrison, the TX Dems, and David Van Os. Good crowd.

I'm still a proud Dean supporter and look forward to his place in Democratic politics for years to come.

If we do indeed have a record turnout, Dean will be one of the many reasons why.

17. I'm in Massachusetts and while he was pretty much
out of the race at that point I still voted for him, out of respect. He had me from the first meeting of prospective candidates when he proudly announced that he was there "to represent the Democratic wing of the Democratic party". Now that he is no threat you hear the media say "he says what he thinking and you have to respect that", yea right the ass hats did nothing but disrespect the man from day 1. Now that he's not a threat to them hes OK. ASSHOLES.

18. Thank you, Blaze for bringing this up!
I went to the Kerry rally in Manchester, NH on Sunday from New York..my sister and I stayed in a motel(the Best Western) Saturday night that the receptionist said..Dean stayed in when he was there and she got to shake his hand.

I was so excited to learn that and so happy to be going to the Kerry rally the next day..and the lady gave us $10.00 off our room cause.."you're with Kerry"!

Thank you so much, Govenor Dr Dean for getting so many People into the process and continuing with our grassroots efforts ..i.e. Dean Dozens! Success and Victory.. tomorrow!

20. Thanks Dr. Dean!
Your campaign really made people (especially us Internet geeks) start to realize the power we really have. You were one of the lone voices out there against the war at first, and you had the courage to speak your mind. (My current Senator, Dick Durbin is another, and I'm sure the Senator-elect will be another.)

21. A few quotes that stick in my mind.
"I have my warts. I sometimes say things that get me in trouble. In other words, I lead with my heart and not my head. That's the only chance we have against George Bush."
Howard Dean

"Hard-working Americans will see through this President's effort to wrap his radical agenda with a compassionate ribbon."
Howard Dean

"People have said I'm the candidate of anger. Well, we have a right to be angry. We lost 3 million jobs. We lost our place as the moral leader of the world."
Howard Dean

"There's not one person in this crowd who's gonna agree with everything I say. Not one."
Howard Dean

"I've waffled before. I'll waffle again."
Howard Dean

31. I also thank Dr Dean
I voted for someone else in the primaries, and I don't regret that choice.

I do acknowledge a debt to Howard Dean for all that he has done for us. I hope that he will choose to remain active in Democratic politics, and that the Democratic leadership will listen carefully to what he says.

38. To many Dems, including myself, Dean is the Democratic Leader.
He stands by what he says and he is trustworthy. That cannot be said for many leaders these days.

He's a statesman and hes a hero*

Certainly he is the pulse of the Progressive, Democratic movement.

... He's patterned his political movement to place progressive democratic candidates in elections across the country on long term, grassroots principles. We will be seeing Dean's effect on the party for quite a while.
