How Big of a "coat-tail" effect will a Kerry landslide produce?
How many House & Senate seats that seemed like long shots will come thru?

How many that seemed probable will also be landslides?

How good would things look if all those new voters and highly motivated Dems cast a straight Democratic ballot?

9. Don't think that holds true
for new voter registration. I think newbies voting AGAINST * will most likely vote ALL Dem. If hatred of * IS what is driving the record turn out- and I think that's what it is- why would those voters split tickets?

13. good point... I was thinking more of older, established voters....
this split ticket thing often surfaces when people are crossing party lines or unsteady on their choice.... and a lot of that will happen this year I think. But I'm just throwing out a thought and don't have any strong conviction about it.

6. I'll bet we get the Senate
and you know what? The Republicans haven't said one single word about the House. That may be quite a tell there.

8. Don't know, but we really need to take back the Senate in order to help
John Kerry clean up the mess that Bu$h left us.

10. I hope so
I know Boxer is gonna win in CA, no doubt about it. I'm personally concerned w/ local elections in Santa Barbara. I hope that a Kerry victory helps us get Senate seats. God knows we don't need a Repub majority.

11. We'll take the Senate narrowly & greatly close the gap in the House
Of course I could be wrong. It's entirely possible we take the Senate by a few extra seats, plus take the House back, too.

It's a dream I have. :D
