Colorado is closer than you'd think! Two polls
Edited on Tue Nov-02-04 12:14 AM by pabloseb
There haven't been many CO polls lately since it was assumed to be safe red. However, the two polls released 11/1 show the race VERY tight.

Zogby has B 49- K 47. No internals.
SurveyUsa has B 50-K 47, with a huge trend toward Kerry (their previous poll two days ago was B 52-K 46). Kerry is leading by 16 points among independents: 55 to 39. And they have Salazar up 5 points in the senate race, confirming that the moment is with the democrats.

If turnout is huge as we expect, this will be a razor-thin race with a realistic chance of victory for Kerry.

4. Come on Colorado!
I've got relatives in the state, and my heart is never far from the Rocky Mountains. I'd love nothing more than to see Colorado go blue. (Well, okay, I'd really like to see my home states of Oklahoma or Wyoming go blue, but that ain't gonna happen, so I'd like to live vicariously through Colorado.)
