I am so proud to be of the same political persuasion as this man. Smart, hip, funny, warm, thoughtful, but most of all.....NATURAL. Not a bone of pretension in him.

Is it his Buddhist religion that makes him so at ease? Or what?

however you view his father's politics, that description of Ron Reagan is largely true of his father, from all accounts I have read. People who disagreed with him on every issue politically found him to be friendly, warm, always ready to tell a joke or a story...just a naturally nice guy.
