Who Else ISN'T Going To Sleep Tonight?
Edited on Tue Nov-02-04 12:45 AM by The Nation
I just can't even conceive of trying to go to sleep tonight, the suspense is just TOO much. I will not allow my head to touch a pillow until JFK is the President-Elect.

The day has arrived, so I'm just loading up on caffeine and then I'll collapse after JK and JE get voted into the WH.

13. I'm a "boomer". I don't dance much anymore...but I've always been
a night owl. Of course I SHOULD take my baggy eyes to bed so I can vote early and come back home to watch the fireworks.

It could be days before we get everything smoothed out, so I SHOULD rest up for the aftermath. Shoulda woulda coulda...ah hell, I'll be on here for a little while longer I think :hangover:

14. I HAVE to
but I'm so damn wired.

I've got to be at HQ at 6:30 am and I am poll greeting starting at 7 am (100 feet away, thankyouverymuch!).

Ug. Working until the polls close at various jobs.

Then staying up until God knows when tomorrow.

I'm off. Gonna catch TDS repeat and then it's off to sweet dreams of a new President!!!!!!!

It's either gonna be a nail-biter or party time. Either way I'll be up late tomorrow, and maybe breaking out something special from the wine cellar.

17. I've got to be to the polls by 6
and after that to my community GOTV action by 8. We're driving poeple to the polls, poll counting, poll monitoring and canvassing. People will get started at 2 putting up sign. If I can't sleep, I'll do that..or flyering.

Was this much stuff going on in 2000?
