65. Even if we do win, thats not the problem.
Until there is a legitimate and accurate tabulating of ALL the votes, in a nutshell, there will never be a legitimate and/or accurate election. NO MATTER WHOS SIDE YOUR ON.

Until fair voting standards are actually honored by both sides, both sides are beholden to the highest bidder, that's the bottom line.

You looking the short term immediate gratification answer? Then, honestly, your lookin through some fools' glasses.

Even if Kerry gets in, frankly it feels good for the short term, but does it address the most important critical problem?

It doesnt mean the election was held correctly. So far we are getting every indication it hasnt been. Look at the almost one million votes Greg Palast already stated are totally erased and/or invalidated. One million votes. What do you say to those one million people? We need to face the reality of this deal.

27. Well, my first reaction is
electronic voting is the answer.

Now...taking a step back...

There are A LOT of people who will be voting on Nov. 2nd. It will be huge! This is only results (maybe) of early voters and I'm guessing it does not include provisional ballots. That said, it is so close that provisionals will come into play.

Unfortunately, we all are fully aware of the screeching the Republicans are doing in order to challenge every ballot that is not in the party faithful.

Dear God, as much as I hate to say this...I'm almost considering registering as a Republican just so I can vote Democrat!

60. The hell it is!
This isn't the A.P. This is the official site of the Ohio Secretary of State -- who already tried to disqualify a huge number of new voter registrations on the grounds that their applications weren't printed on heavy enough paper stock!

Yes, I'm sure it's a "test." However, I'm not at all confident that there won't be some sort of an "accident" that moves those results to the official count at one point or another.

59. Dear Democrats...
As you can see, President Bush has already won our state. Therefore, there is no reason to cast a ballot. In order to prevent traffic congestion, you should all stay away from your polling places today, since your votes will make no difference. Thank you.

Sincerely,
The Ohio Secretary of State's Office

62. Registrant is Neustar - why does a company that knows everyone's phone #..
post vote totals as a test?

http://icbtollfree.com/txt/article_7802.html

I'm tired, it's late, maybe I'm paranoid from all my research into neo-con scam operations, CNP, voting machine companies, etc...but,

Why does a company that knows every single American's phone number run a site that posts vote totals?

63. No matter what this is it could be illegal
Someone should report this to the election officials in Ohio and I e-mailed it to the DNC. If it is a test the names should be made up. This thing could be sent to elderly folks and they might be deterred from voting. Many say ...Duh this is a test, breath, it means nothing...NO it means someone is trying to influence the election before it starts and it is WRONG. I urge you to send copies of this to news outlets and let's find out the IP address of the prson or parties resposible. Any lawyers on line?????? This is just wrong no matter what the premise is!
